Owners Melissa and Eric Schmitt opened Poor House, a unique home furnishing store, in June. Poor House features a "classic-with-an-edge" selection of custom designed and fabricated indoor and outdoor furniture, upholstered pieces, pillows, great fabric selections and furnishings, as well as garden supplies, rugs, art, baskets, paper goods, linens, tabletop items including glassware and pottery, lighting fixtures of all kinds, and a great children's section. 

Poor House is located at the northwest corner of the Oxbow Public Market, at 1046 McKinstry Street, adjacent to The Fatted Calf Charcuterie and The Model Bakery.

Poor House is open seven ays a week from 9 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am to 6 pm on Sundays.
